The Los Angeles Rams have once again gained momentum on a potential trade for All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Roughly a week ago, it was reported that the Los Angeles Rams had ruled themselves out of the running for a potential trade for Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown.

However, that has appeared to change. NFL insider Dianna Russini stated that after talks of Brown to the Rams had died down, talks have gained momentum.

Russini said that the Rams continue to monitor the status of the three-time Pro Bowler with interest.

Last week, Russini said that Philadelphia's price is a steep one, which may have caused the Rams to move on. It's unclear if the Eagles' asking price for Brown has changed or if it remains the same.

The Super Bowl champion is coming off a mediocre season by his standards. In the struggling Eagles offense last season, Brown recorded 78 receptions for 1,003 receiving yards, seven touchdowns and averaged 12.9 yards per reception.

Brown is coming off his seventh season in the league and his fourth in Philadelphia (and it could be his last).

A potential addition of Brown would do wonders for the Rams. A potential pass-catching trio of Brown, Puka Nacua, and Davante Adams would take the Rams offense to the next level, if it wasn't already.

The duo of Nacua and Adams was a top duo in 2025, and the numbers proved that. While that was the case, the Rams desperately need a third wide receiver, and Brown would immediately fit that bill.

Brown would be a great addition, but depth may be best for a Rams team that was possibly a solid third wide receiver away from representing the NFC in the Super Bowl this past season.

The Rams could use their No. 13 overall pick in April’s draft on a pass catcher. They will certainly have several options to improve their receiving corps, and the draft could be an ideal way to do so.

From Makai Lemon of the USC Trojans to Denzel Boston of the Washington Huskies and Carnell Tate of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Los Angeles will have plenty of intriguing options if it goes that route with its top pick in the first round.

The Rams will do everything they can to build a roster capable of being the last team standing next season. General manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay have a clear plan in place, and if that plan includes acquiring A.J. Brown, they have proven time and again that their vision is one worth trusting.
