The Los Angeles Rams are heading into their playoff matchup with the Carolina Panthers, and Kevin Dotson and Jordan Whittington are out, with two others questionable.

It will be all hands on deck when the Los Angeles Rams face the Carolina Panthers for the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.

Ahead of the matchup, Rams head coach Sean McVay ruled out offensive lineman Kevin Dotson, as he has been suffering from an ankle injury that has sidelined him since Week 17.

Initially, wide receiver Jordan Whittington was questionable to play, but he became a late addition to the injury report. Whittington has now been ruled out due to a knee injury.

With Dotson and Whittington out, the Rams might also be without tight end Terrance Ferguson and cornerback Josh Wallace.

Ferguson suffered a hamstring injury in practice ahead of Week 18, and he was ruled out before the Rams took on the Arizona Cardinals. His injury continues to linger, and he may miss the first game of the playoffs.

Hamstring injuries can be tricky, but Ferguson was upgraded to limited after missing the first two days of practice, which can be seen as a good sign.

Wallace has also been out with an ankle injury, and he missed Week 18 due to the ailment. He was also upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday.

On the good news side of things for the injury report, defensive end Braden Fiske, tight end Tyler Higbee, wide receiver Davante Adams, safety Quentin Lake, and cornerback Darious Williams were all upgraded to full participants.

Williams did not practice on Wednesday, but it was due to a personal reason and a day off.

Linebacker Byron Young did not practice on Wednesday, but he was given a vest rest day.

Apart from the Rams losing Dotson and Whittington for the crucial playoff matchup, the Rams are heading into the game with a relatively clean injury report. Granted, players like Ferguson and Wallace may still be ruled out, but the inactive list will reveal their final status.

The Rams bounced back in a big way against the Cardinals in Week 18, dominating on both sides of the ball to the tune of a 37-20 final score. The hope for the team is to use that as momentum to carry them through to the Divisional Round.

Carolina may be coming into the playoffs with the worst record, but they can be challenging to deal with. Bryce Young, Rico Dowdle, and Tetairoa McMillan form a powerful offensive trio that can be unpredictable at times.
