The Los Angeles Rams are heading into the NFC Championship against the Seattle Seahawks with a mostly clean roster.
Ahead of the matchup, there are only five players listed on the final injury report.
Safety Quentin Lake, linebacker Byron Young, cornerback Emmanuel Forbes Jr., linebacker Josaiah Stewart, and offensive lineman Rob Havenstein.
Of the players listed, only Havenstein has been ruled out. Despite being designated to return, he needs more time.
Rams head coach Sean McVay spoke about Havenstein's availability in the NFC Championship, stating, "I didn't ever have any expectations of him playing this week."
McVay also indicated that the offensive lineman has made some "great progress," but he is not ready to return.
The only other concern is Young, who suffered a knee injury during the Divisional Round. McVay indicated they would take things slow with the linebacker, and that has been the case.
Young sat out of practice during Wednesday's walk-through and on Thursday. Despite being upgraded and limited on Friday, there is not a lot of concern that he will not suit up against the Seahawks.
McVay simply stated, "Our full expectation is that he's playing."
Lake had been dealing with an illness, which kept him out on Wednesday, but that illness was nothing that was set to keep him out long-term. Forbes also banged up his shoulder against the Chicago Bears, but it was indicated he would not have any issues suiting up.
Stewart is dealing with a knee injury, but he practiced in full all week.
The Divisional Round saw a more lengthy injury report, but this time around, the Rams are heading into the most important game of the playoffs relatively healthy.
Considering the lack of injured players, this is a huge boost for the Rams. They are set to face their divisional rivals in what could go down as one of the better games in the entirety of the playoffs.
The first two meetings between the two teams resulted in a 1-1 draw, and both games were decided by a field goal or less. Expect both the Rams and Seahawks to come out with the same intensity, especially due to the winner representing the NFC in the Super Bowl.
Los Angeles will need to rattle Sam Darnold early and often to get him to make costly mistakes and to stop Kenneth Walker III and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Establishing the run game will also bode well for a victory.
Blake Corum was not utilized nearly as much against the Bears, and the Rams need to get him going to pair well with Kyren Williams.
With a mostly healthy roster, there are no excuses for the Rams not to fight hard and pull out a win.
