A look at some of the final mock drafts for the Los Angeles Rams in the final week before the draft.

The Los Angeles Rams have been mocked to plenty of players through the past few months or so, with players like Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, Utah lineman Spencer Fano, and Indiana Hoosiers receiver Omar Cooper Jr. landing at No. 13 overall.

Now, in the final week of mock drafts ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, which will begin on April 23 at 8 p.m. EST, here is a look at what analysts are saying regarding who the Rams may take at No. 13 overall.

Todd McShay - The Ringer

NFL analyst Todd McShay put together what could be his final mock draft, which has a ton of shake ups, including players that fall out of spots they were mocked to just a short week ago. That said, he has the Rams landing USC's Makai Lemon.

"All chips are in on the Rams’ 2027 season, and Lemon is the best available prospect to support that plan. He may not have elite size or top-end speed for the position, but he’s built “Ram tough,” he’s as reliable as it gets at the catch point, and he consistently generates yards after the catch with excellent contact balance and body control.

"The production backs up the tape: Lemon averaged over 3.0 yards per route run against both man and zone coverage during his college career. Since 2021, only five other receivers have done that: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Jaylen Waddle, D’Wayne Eskridge, Ja’Marr Chase, and DeVonta Smith," McShay wrote.

Mike Band - NFL.com

NFL Next Gen Stats analyst Mike Band believes the same thing as McShay does, indicating that Lemon will fall to the Rams at No. 13 overall.

"After trading for Trent McDuffie and signing other key free agents to stay out of desperation mode, selecting an offensive weapon feels very on brand. Lemon gives Sean McVay a competitive separator who can win inside, create after the catch and handle enough dirty work as a blocker to fit L.A.’s offense. With Davante Adams entering the final year of his deal, the Rams can help Matthew Stafford now while staying a step ahead at receiver," Band wrote.

Bradley Locker - Pro Football Focus

PFF analyst Bradley Locker has the Rams landing a receiver, but he believes it will be Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson.

"Tyson’s draft slot feels difficult to pinpoint, even at this stage in the cycle. Although injuries could cause a fall, his twitchy releases, wide catch radius and clutch playmaking will attract a slew of teams. The Rams seem likely to add another dynamic playmaker in what could be Matthew Stafford’s final season, and Tyson would assemble a ludicrous trio next to Puka Nacua and Davante Adams," Locker wrote.

The Rams do need a receiver, but taking Tyson might be a bit of a gamble due to his injury history. The last thing that Los Angeles needs is to end up with another pass catcher that has a lingering soft tissue ailment.

Davante Adams suffered a hamstring injury that sidelined him for four games in 2025, but that is clearly wear and tear on a body that has spent 12 seasons in the NFL. Tyson has dealt with a hamstring in 2025, a broken collarbone in 2024, and a severe knee injury in 2022.

The good news is Tyson is set to hold a private workout on April 17, which could a long way to prove his health on the field after he missed the NFL Combine and Pro Day due to his hamstring issue.

Regarding Lemon, he possesses the kind of traits that would it well with the Rams offense. His ability to get open in space and be a YAC weapon would ideally line up well with Puka Nacua and Adams.

While the veteran receivers could line up for more of the go-route and contested catch type of deep balls, Lemon could punish defenses with the same skills but as an over-the-middle route runner.

Lemon falling to the Rams at No. 13 could be seen as a slam-dunk option, especially considering no other receiver on the team secured more than 500 receiving yards, other than Nacua and Adams. This also includes the solid tight end room.
