The Los Angeles Rams have received another update about the A.J. Brown rumors.

Throughout the course of the 2026 NFL offseason, the Los Angeles Rams have been connected to star wide receiver A.J. Brown on multiple occasions.

As the Philadelphia Eagles continue listening to offers and discussing trade options involving Brown, the Rams remain a team that fans are watching. Los Angeles was linked to having heavy interest in trading for Brown earlier this offseason.

While the rumors have died down a bit connecting the Rams to Brown, they remain one of the teams who could pull off a deal.

Keeping that in mind, a new update has been shared from NFL insider Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. He believes that Los Angeles has already had its shot to acquire Brown and that all signs are pointing to the New England Patriots being his final destination.

"As for where he’s going, it always made sense for the Eagles to wait to 'agree to terms' until the last minute because things can change elsewhere (and already have with the Rice situation in Kansas City)," Breer wrote.

"But the Chiefs, Chargers, Bills and Rams all had their shot at this already, and I think the final result will be what everyone’s treating as a fait accompli, and that’s Brown reuniting with Mike Vrabel in New England."

Basically, the belief from Breer is that the Rams would have already traded for Brown if they were going to do so. The Eagles and Patriots discussions have gone far enough that it would be a surprise to see him land anywhere else.

Assuming Los Angeles is indeed out of the running for Brown, Les Snead and Sean McVay will have some decisions to make. Do they believe that the Rams' wide receiver room is good enough? Are they still interested in adding a piece or two to the puzzle?

Should they want to add another wideout, free agency could be an option.

Right now, Los Angeles could explore signing a player like Stefon Diggs, Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, or Deebo Samuel. Any of those players would be a nice addition for the Rams.

Expect to continue hearing wide receiver rumors connected to the team. For now, it doesn't seem like Brown will be coming to Los Angeles.
