The Los Angeles Rams have released their inactives list for the NFC Championship and Tutu Atwell is among the players sidelined.

The Los Angeles Rams are gearing up for their NFC Championship matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, and the team has released its official inactives list.

The full inactives list is as follows:

Wide receiver Tutu Atwell

Cornerback Derion Kendrick

Running back Jarquez Hunter

Tight end Nick Vannett

Offensive lineman Beaux Limmer

Defensive end Larrell Murchison

Quarterback Stetson Bennett IV

Bennett is the only inactive that could see some action if he were to be called into action as the third-string emergency quarterback.

As was the case for Atwell in the Divisional Round, he has been made a healthy inactive for the NFC Championship.

Rams head coach Sean McVay spoke on why Atwell had been ruled out previously, which may be the same reasoning behind his being sat out for the Seahawks matchup.

"When you're talking about the amount of receivers, those guys' abilities to contribute on teams was the simplest approach," McVay said on Tuesday.

"I don't know that. We have to see exactly what our 48 looks like. There's some flexibility and fluidity. That was more of a team's kind of thing. Once we really dive into the prep and figure out what these gameplans are for each side of the football. That will really affect the decision-making. Tutu did a great job throughout the course of a week and was a total stud about it. It hasn't been ideal, but sometimes it comes down to the numbers thing. The kicking game has something to do with that," McVay said.

Instead of playing Atwell, the Rams are going with their younger talent in Jordan Whittington, Xavier Smith, and Konata Mumpfield.

That is also not to mention Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, along with Tyler Higbee and the solid tight end room.

Murchinson had been elevated for the game from the practice squad, but was made inactive. He was likely the insurance in case Byron Young was not available to play due to his knee injury, but that is not the case.

Young will suit up, as was indicated by McVay earlier in the week.

Apart from that, the rest of the inactives were more so depth players as opposed to starters. The Rams came into this week with a mostly healthy roster, and that remains the same.

With the challenge of the Seahawks ahead, the Rams will need all the help they can get.
