The latest injury report for the Los Angeles Rams' game against the Atlanta Falcons cast doubt on three starters being able to suit up.

The Los Angeles Rams are attempting to secure the top seed in the NFC, as are the Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers.

Beating the Falcons on Monday will be a sure-fire way to attempt to land that top seed, but the Rams could be facing a reality where three starters are not available. During Friday's practice, Alaric Jackson, Davante Adams, and Kevin Dotson were all hit with their second consecutive DNP status.

Jackson has been dealing with a knee injury that has kept him out of practice for Thursday and Friday. Should he miss Saturday's practice, it is likely he will not be able to play.

The same can be said for Adams. The star wide receiver re-aggravated his hamstring injury, which kept him out of Week 16, and there is a strong chance that he will not see the field in Week 17.

There has been plenty of talk regarding the Rams shutting him down for Week 18 as well, which would make a ton of sense. Adams needs to get healthy for the playoffs, and hamstring injuries can be tricky and linger for multiple weeks and months.

Despite being a huge red zone target for Matthew Stafford, Adams might need another week of rest to be ready for the playoffs.

Joining Adams and Jackson is Dotson. Dotson has been dealing with an ankle injury, and he missed his second consecutive practice.

If Dotson and Jackson are ruled out, this would be troublesome for the Rams offensive line.

Additional players on the injury report are Braden Fiske, who was upgraded to a limited participant after missing practice on Wednesday. He is currently dealing with an ankle injury.

Cornerback Josh Wallace also has an ankle injury and missed his second consecutive practice. Conversely, the Rams are seemingly getting back Roger McCreary.

McCreary hurt himself in his first game with the Rams after being traded for from the Tennessee Titans. He has been dealing with a hip injury, but was upgraded to a full participant on Friday.

Rams head coach Sean McVay indicated McCreary was being activated with the expectation to play in Week 17. Quentin Lake is also set to be activated in Week 18, with the hopes that he can be ready to play by the first game of the playoffs.

Los Angeles may luck out and land that top seed, which awards a first-round bye and home-field advantage. This would be hugely beneficial for this ailing Rams team.
