The Los Angeles Rams have emerged as a potential trade suitor for a former rival wide receiver.

Les Snead and the Los Angeles Rams have never shied away from being aggressive at the NFL trade deadline. Just in this post offseason, the team pulled off blockbuster trades to acquire cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Kansas City Chiefs and pass rusher Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns.

With the NFL trade deadline coming up quickly on November 10, the Rams continue to be a team linked to potential trade ideas in the rumor mill.

Unfortunately, Los Angeles doesn't have much to work with in trade discussions. Due to the two major offseason trades, Snead doesn't have a lot of trade assets to pull off a deal.

If the Rams are going to make a trade, it seems likely that it will be an under-the-radar move. No one should expect to see the team make another blockbuster move.

Keeping that in mind, Los Angeles has been linked to a former rival wide receiver.

ESPN's Matt Bowen believes that Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jauan Jennings could be a target for the Rams. Of course, Jennings was previously a wideout for the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers before signing with the Vikings in the offseason.

Jennings has been unable to find a role in Minnesota. After signing a one-year deal, it seems likely that the Vikings will look to move on from him.

In five games played this year, Jennings has caught just four passes for 43 yards.

Last season with the 49ers, Jennings put up much bigger production. He caught 55 passes for 643 yards and nine touchdowns across 15 games. Back in 2024, he racked up 77 receptions for 975 yards and six scores in 15 games.

Los Angeles could very well be in the market for a wide receiver. Davante Adams recently went down with a severe hamstring injury that will likely sideline him for most of, if not all, the regular season.

While Jennings is not a player who would come in and fix the Rams' problems by himself, he would provide Matthew Stafford with another veteran weapon. Assuming the price tag is low, Los Angeles would be wise to consider Jennings.

Only time will tell what Snead and the Rams' front office is able cook up before the trade deadline. Jennings may or may not be a player of interest for Los Angeles.

Expect to continue hearing rumors connecting the Rams to different potential targets. Jennings is just the latest worth keeping an eye on.
