Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is in the top five of the NFL Top 100 list.
The Los Angeles Rams have many players who have made the player-voted NFL Top 100 List, but only three have already been revealed to be in the top 10: wide receiver Puka Nauca, defensive end Myles Garrett, and quarterback Matthew Stafford.
One of which has been revealed, as wide receiver Puka Nacua came in at No. 7. Now, Stafford's position has been revealed.
Stafford is officially the No. 4 player on the NFL Top 100 list, making his leap one of the largest from 2025 to 2026. On the 2025 list, the Rams quarterback came in at No. 59 officially.
This is the highest that Stafford has ever been on the NFL Top 100 and it is deservedly so.
During the 2026 season, the Los Angeles signal caller put together the biggest season of his career, as Stafford led the league with 4,707 passing yards, 46 touchdowns, 236 first down passes, a long of 88 yards, and 276.9 passing yards per game.
The performance led to Stafford also securing his first-ever league MVP, which he coupled with the announcement that he would return to play for the 2026 season. The Rams quarterback has spoken openly about retirement, and he has had a string of injuries over the last few seasons.
A lingering back issue led to him missing the majority of training camp, but that did not stop Stafford from appearing in and starting all 17 games, along with performing well in the playoffs.
The Rams would be defeated by the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC crown and a trip to the Super Bowl, but Stafford showcased a new level of his talent, leading to the league's highest honor.
Now, the Rams are looking towards the future in a significant way, as the team made several team-changing trades, bringing in defensive end Myles Garrett, cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, and Aaron Donald ending his retirement to play in 2026.
All eyes will be on Los Angeles in 2026 to see if the arguably best-built team can make the Super Bowl, but the defensive additions aside, they have a strong shot due to the play of Stafford.
Stafford has seemingly gotten better with age, which is why is ranked No. 4 overall, and why he was awarded a league MVP at the age of 38 and having spent 17 years playing football. Whether or not he plays past 2026 remains to be seen, but he is signed through t the 2027 season.
