Matthew Stafford may have begun his career with the Detroit Lions, but he has made a massive impact as a member of the Los Angeles Rams.
In just his first season with the Rams, Stafford helped lead the team to a Super Bowl victory, and the first one since 1999. Now, the signal caller can call himself an MVP, as he has won the highest NFL honor for the 2025 season.
Stafford showcased elite skills, leading to 4,707 passing yards, 46 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and a 109.2 passer rating.

Even though he has played 17 years, Stafford has made the Pro Bowl only three times, which seems very odd considering his stats throughout his career.
Regardless of his lack of accolades on that front, Stafford can now call himself a league MVP.
Stafford has yet to commit to playing in 2026, but it is believed that he will be back. Clearly, he has gotten better with age, but he has faced significant hurdles injury wise through the last three seasons.
Being 38 years old and having 17 seasons in the league, Stafford is clearly feeling the effects of a long career. The Rams remain in the championship window, and getting their quarterback for another season at least could lead to another Super Bowl berth.
For now, Stafford can enjoy his major award, while he
