The Los Angeles Rams are a team to watch if the Browns make Myles Garrett available for trade.
The Los Angeles Rams and general manager Les Snead have not been shy about making aggressive trades in recent years. One of those trades was made just this offseason.
Earlier this offseason, the Rams pulled the trigger on a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs that acquired star cornerback Trent McDuffie in exchange for a 2026 first-round pick. McDuffie will help shore up a defensive secondary that badly needed help.
With that being said, Los Angeles is always a team to watch when star players become available.
Keeping that in mind, the Rams have been mentioned as a potential Myles Garrett trade suitor if the Cleveland Browns were to make him available. Sports Illustrated's Blaine Grisak has named Garrett as one of the five most realistic trade targets for the team this offseason.
"There are some questions about Myles Garrett’s future with the Cleveland Browns, as he hasn’t met with new head coach Todd Monken or shown up to OTAs," Grisak wrote.
"Another first-round pick to secure the Browns a 2027 franchise quarterback may get it done."
Bringing in a player like Garrett would be a league-shaking move. He is fresh off of taking over the single-season sack record from Michael Strahan last season.
During the 2025 NFL season with the Browns, Garrett played in all 17 regular season games. He racked up 60 total tackles to go along with 23 sacks, three forced fumbles, and a defended pass.
Throughout his entire nine-year NFL career, Garrett has played in 134 games. He has totaled 412 tackles, 125.5 sacks, 23 forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, and 18 defended passes. He is one of the best pure pass rushers that the league has ever seen.
More than likely, Cleveland isn't going to look to trade Garrett. However, there is always a chance in the NFL that star players will get fed up and force a trade.
If that happens with Garrett, the Rams are going to be a team worth watching. They have a long track record of being willing to give up draft picks for win-now players.
Expect to continue hearing speculation about Garrett's NFL future. Now, Los Angeles fans will be monitoring the situation even closer.
