Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua is among the best at his position.
Nacua just completed his third NFL season and showcased elite skills yet again. The 24-year-old boasts an incredibly high ceiling, and he's striving to become even better.
This offseason, Nacua has wasted no time working toward improvement. With the NFL offseason officially underway, many players have been spotted training together, and Nacua is no exception.
He’s been working out alongside his former teammate, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver and two-time Super Bowl champion Cooper Kupp.
The two were spotted doing drills together in Los Angeles.
Nacua and Kupp were teammates for two seasons from 2023 to 2024. Although they weren't together for a long time, the two forged a strong relationship.
Things didn't work out between Kupp and the Rams after the 2024 season. L.A. cut the former First-team All-Pro wide receiver in March, and he had no choice but to find another team.
The Seahawks wasted no time in recruiting the Washington native, as they signed him to a three-year, $45 million contract two days after L.A. cut ties with him.
The breakup between the Rams and Kupp ended less than ideally. Los Angeles released Kupp last March, as it had become increasingly clear that the two sides were headed for a split. His production had declined from the heights of his 2021 All-Pro, Super Bowl MVP season.
The writing was on the wall, and the Rams — true to form — made the tough decision to move on, prioritizing football over emotion. The organization handles such decisions better than most, and while Kupp understood the move, that didn’t make it easy. During his introductory press conference in March, he was blunt, describing the situation as “difficult.”
The decision ultimately cleared the way for a significant upgrade: the signing of Davante Adams in free agency. The move paid off immediately. Adams led the league with 14 touchdown receptions and seamlessly fit alongside Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua, helping the Rams build the league’s top total offense.
Kupp ended his tenure with the Rams playing in 104 total games. He racked up 634 receptions, 7,776 yards, and 57 touchdowns.
The 32-year-old is the past with the Rams, with Nacua being the present and future in Los Angeles.
In his three seasons in L.A., Nacua has tallied 313 receptions for 4,191 yards, 19 touchdowns and averages 95.3 yards per game in 44 career games.
