The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly among the teams that are keeping tabs on All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

The Los Angeles Rams could make a big splash in the trade market this week.

According to NFL insider Albert Breer, the Rams are among the teams that could make a trade for All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

Breer said Crosby could get traded this week, and the Rams, along with the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and Philadelphia Eagles, are among the teams in the running.

Crosby has been in trade talks for quite some time. He's been the subject of trade speculation since before the end of the 2025 season.

Nothing has materialized on that front due to the fact that the Raiders have maintained that they expect to stay in Las Vegas. However, things have changed over the past few weeks, and Crosby could now potentially be on the move.

Reports have indicated that Crosby has been frustrated with the Raiders, especially after they shut him down at the end of the season due to a knee injury. Talks have certainly gained momentum, but Raider general manager John Spytek stated he expects the Pro Bowl defensive end to remain with the team for the 2026 season.

"I do," Spytek said last Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. "... Maxx is an elite player, and I've been very upfront from the start when I got here that we're in the business of having really good players on the team, and we need a lot more of them."

Nonetheless, it is up to Crosby and the Rams to have the tools to snag him up in a trade, potentially.

L.A. has two first-round picks in this year's NFL Draft that they could throw at the Raiders if they want. On top of that, they have immediate impact players who Las Vegas could benefit from, like Byron Young.

The Rams have a surplus of players and picks to trade if they believe Crosby is a player who can take them to the next level. L.A. doesn't lack any pass rushers, but Crosby could take them from a great level to an elite one.

Paired alongside Jared Verse, potentially adding Crosby could turn the Rams into the best defensive front in the league.

Crosby would provide an immediate boost to pressure to opposing offenses, take a bit of pressure off the secondary and possibly extend Matthew Stafford's window.

The Rams will have some competition for Crosby, but they certainly have the tools to pull off a trade the Raiders deem worthy.
