The Los Angeles Rams have ruled out Aaron Donald and more players ahead of their Week 4 matchup.

The Los Angeles Rams will be without several key players in their Week 4 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Head coach Sean McVay confirmed that defensive end Aaron Donald, tight end Terrance Ferguson, and cornerback Jaylen Watson are all out against the Eagles.

Donald appeared on the injury report early this week with a back ailment, and McVay stated that the defender was dealing with soreness. However, he missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, leading to his being ruled out.

Ferguson also had an ankle injury ahead of Week 3, but he managed to play against the Denver Broncos. The tight end would then re-injure the ankle in the game, leading to him being pulled.

Now, Ferguson has also been ruled out as he deals with healing from the nagging ankle injury.

Watson also suffered a significant injury during Week 3, as he had fallen hard on his shoulder. Following the incident, he was helped off the field, and his arm had to be stabilized.

It was later revealed that Watson suffered a dislocated shoulder, and McVay stated earlier this week that the cornerback would likely be out for Week 4. That is now the case.

In better news, McVay also stated that tight end Colby Parkinson is questionable for the game, but is not ruled out just yet.

Linebacker Grant Stuard is also dealing with a sore groin, and will also be questionable. Wide receiver Puka Nacua is also "good to go."

McVay also added that Nacua may be dealing with a snap count, and they will navigate what is best for the receiver in the game.

The Rams are currently 1-2 and are facing an Eagles team that has also struggled, but the team is also 2-1.

Los Angeles needs to bounce back yet again, and the inconsistencies on both sides of the ball through three games cannot be repeated.

Following the Eagles, the Rams face the Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers. Most of the listed teams are doing quite well in 2026 and provide their own set of challenges.

Getting Nacua back will be a huge boost, but losing Donald will impact the defense and the ability to get after Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Additionally, Watson being out also impacts the secondary in a significant way.

Los Angeles also favors 13-personnel, which will be difficult to utilize without a fully healthy tight end room. Ferguson is already out, and Parkinson might also not be healthy enough to play.
