A look at five major takeaways of the full Baltimore Ravens 2026 schedule.
The Baltimore Ravens released their full schedule, which sees the team travel the No. 21 most miles in the NFL. On top of multiple primetime games, there are some details that need to be ironed out.
Here are five head-scratching aspects of the full Ravens schedule.
5. No Teams With Winning Record Until Week 8
One of the strangest components of this Ravens schedule is that the team will not face a 2025 playoff opponent until Week 8, when they take on the Buffalo Bills.
The first seven games are against the Colts, Saints, Cowboys, Titans, Falcons, Browns, and Bengals. Even weirder is that none of these opponents had a winning record, which means the Ravens can set themselves up with a strong record to kick the 2026 season off.
4. Beneficial BYE
The Ravens struggled greatly with injuries in 2025, and that may not be the case in 2026. On top of bringing in a new health and performance vice president in Dr. Nic Gill, the team also has a hugely beneficial BYE.
Baltimore will have a BYE in Week 13, giving them a big rest before they take on their final five opponents.
3. Short Week Struggle
Baltimore not only has to take on the Bills as their first rival and playoff opponent on Nov. 1 in Week 8, but they have to turn around and take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Nov. 5 for Thursday Night Football.
The Ravens may have a favorable opening schedule, but having to take on two playoff opponents and AFC contenders on a short week might be very difficult to deal with.
2. Ravens in Primetime
There is a lot of hope that the Ravens will be getting back to their previous selves, and the 2025 season could have been an outlier. As a result, the team will be playing four primetime games.
Baltimore will play the Falcons in Week 5 on Sunday Night Football, the Jaguars in Week 9 on Thursday Night Football, the Chargers in Week 10 on Monday Night Football, and finally against the Bengals in Week 17 on New Year's Eve for Thursday Night Football.
1. Divisonal Matchup Gauntlet
It appears more and more that the NFL wants to ensure divisional crowns are at the end of the season. Four of the last five opponents for the Ravens are against their divisional rivals.
Baltimore will play the Browns once, the Bengals once, and the Steelers twice. Two of the three should be contenders, which will make the Ravens' record even more important following their BYE.
