The Baltimore Ravens are facing an extremely important game this week against the Bills.

The Baltimore Ravens have had a rough stretch since starting the season off with a 4-1 record. Over their last two games, they have lost to the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.

A big part of the problem has been the absence of superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson. He has been forced to miss more time this season due to an ankle injury.

Jackson has played in four games this season out of the seven that have been played. He has completed 70.8 percent of his pass attempts for 967 yards, six touchdowns, and an interception, while also running for 144 yards and another score.

In his place, Tyler Huntley has been the starter. He has played solid football, but the step down from Jackson to Huntley has been crystal clear.

Huntley has played in four games, completing 69.8 percent of his passes for 727 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. He has also chipped in with 76 yards and another score.

All of that being said, former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky sent a clear warning to the Ravens about this week's game against the Buffalo Bills.

"Their season's on the line," Orlovsky said. "You're going at Buffalo. You've lost two straight games. The conference is very top heavy. If he doesn't play, your season's on life support."

ESPN's Jamison Hensley shared some numbers about the AFC North division race and the playoffs.

Hensley shared that Baltimore is only holding a 10.5 percent chance of winning the AFC North heading into Week 8 action. As for playoff chances, the Ravens are being given a 49.8 percent chance of making the postseason.

Getting Jackson back on the field will be a must. Every week he doesn't play, Baltimore has a much worse chance of pulling out a win.

Playing against the Bills will be no easy task. Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Buffalo has gotten off to a strong start with a 5-1 record through Week 7.

Hopefully, the Ravens get some good news on Jackson leading up to this week's game. It's a bit too early to say that Baltimore's season is on the line, but it's as close to a must-win at this stage of the season as a game can get.

Only time will tell what happens for the Ravens with Jackson. The same can be said about this week's game against the Bills. More updates on Jackson should come out in the near future as the week moves forward.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
