Baltimore Ravens stars Marlon Humphrey and Rashod Bateman have been dealing with illnesses, and John Harbaugh offered a big update on both.

Two important Baltimore Ravens players have been hit with a significant illness.

Wide receiver Rashod Bateman has missed practice all week due to an illness, and now cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been hit with something similar.

With such an important game looming, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh offered a big update on both, and their availability for Sunday night.

"Both guys sick. Bateman's has had a pretty serious flu situation all week. He got out there early, moved around a little. He's around, thought he was gonna go. I think he did some individual or something early. He got moving a little bit. I would think he will be clear by Sunday. Marlon, same thing happened with him today. I would think he will be clear by Sunday," Harbaugh said.

Losing Bateman and Humphrey for the season finale would certainly be tough to deal with.

Humphrey has been playing well in the secondary, securing an interception for the past three games. The Ravens will rely heavily on him to help stop Aaron Rodgers' ability to stretch the field.

Bateman was only targeted once in the win over the Green Bay Packers, but his being out on the field is always good. He continually becomes a dangerous pass-catching threat when available.

Baltimore needs to win the game to secure a playoff berth and keep their season alive. There are a multitude of injuries the team is dealing with, but Harbaugh has indicated most will still play.

Apart from Humphrey and Bateman being sick, Kyle Van Noy is dealing with a quad injury. He returned to practice for the first time all week.

Ronnie Stanley is also dealing with a knee injury, but his Fridays are usually reserved for rest. His missing Friday may not be an indication of his inability to play on Sunday.

Lamar Jackson also practiced in full for an entire week for the first time since Week 10, pointing to him being healthy and very ready for this showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The winner of the game will receive the AFC North title and a playoff berth, while the loser will see their season end on Sunday night.

Should the Ravens win, they will secure the AFC North for the third consecutive season, and have enacted a major comeback on the season after starting off with a 1-5 record.
