The Baltimore Ravens are set to hire former Los Angeles Chargers passing game coordinator Marcus Brady.

Another assistant coach who worked with Jesse Minter has been added to the Baltimore Ravens.

Per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, the Ravens are set to hire passing game coordinator Marcus Brady, reuniting him with Minter.

Zenitz reported on the hiring, stating:

"The #Ravens are expected to hire #Chargers offensive pass game coordinator Marcus Brady, sources tell @CBSSports. Has worked for the Chargers the last two years. Before that, was an offensive coordinator with the Colts and a senior offensive assistant with the Eagles."

Brady now joins Miles Taylor as two Chargers assistants who worked with Minter on his former team in 2025.

Brady has nearly 20 years of experience as a coach, initially beginning his coaching journey in 2009 as the wide receivers coach for the Montreal Alouettes in the CFL.

After moving from the Alouettes to the Toronto Argonauts, Brady would serve as offensive coordinator from 2013 to 2017.

Brady landed in the NFL for the first time in 2019 as the quarterbacks coach for the Indianapolis Colts. He would be promoted to offensive coordinator for the team in 2021, and moved to the Philadelphia Eagles as offensive consultant in 2022.

Brady was promoted to senior offensive consultant in 2023 and finally landed with the Chargers as their passing game coordinator in 2024.

Now, he joins Minter's staff to work with offensive coordinator Declan Doyle and quarterbacks coach Israel Woolfork.

Minter has been steadily building out his coaching staff, which is nearly full. On top of hiring Doyle, the Ravens landed former Baltimore coach Anthony Weaver as defensive coordinator.

With some big names in tow, the Ravens will begin their new era of football under Minter.

After a disappointing 8-9 season saw the Ravens missed out on the playoffs since 2021, the organization made the shocking decision to move on from John Harbaugh. Baltimore went on an exhaustive search, interviewing 20 candidates, before landing on Minter.

Minter has been on the rise since following Jim Harbaugh from Michigan to the Chargers. He was instrumental in turning the Los Angeles defense around.

With a strong, defensive-minded head coach, the Ravens can reestablish themselves as a tough defense-first team. That might not be the case all the way, considering the offense is strong with Lamar Jackson under center.

Balance needs to happen, and if the defense and offense can band together, the Ravens can get back to being one of the most competitive teams in the AFC.
