The Baltimore Ravens are adding Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady to their growing list of head coach candidates.

With the Baltimore Ravens cutting ties with John Harbaugh after 18 seasons, they are looking towards the future.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti made a rare appearance at a press conference to discuss the next era of the organization's football, which includes an exhaustive search for a new head coach.

Bisciotti indicated that the Ravens are looking to find their next Harbaugh, and the new head coach will be someone who understands Baltimore football culture and can add to it. This new person will also be responsible for helping to elevate Lamar Jackson even more.

With an already impressive list of candidates, the Ravens are adding another top candidate in this current head coach hiring cycle: Joe Brady.

Brady is the current offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, and he has already begun to start making his rounds in terms of landing head coach interview requests.

Per a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Brady will speak to the Ravens on Sunday, following the Divisional Round game on Saturday.

Brady has not only been responsible for the Bills' offense since stepping in as the interim offensive coordinator in 2023, but he was promoted to the full-time OC in 2024.

Brady runs the Bills' offense, which is always competitive, but he is also a major guiding light for Josh Allen. Allen won the MVP award in 2024, which could have arguably gone to Jackson.

All that to say is Brady could be a huge guide for Jackson if the Ravens were to hire him as their next head coach.

Brady had the Bills' offense second in points per game during the 2024 season with 30.9. In 2025, they were fourth with 28.3.

The last two seasons, the Bills' offense was a top 10 unit in the NFL, which is in large part due to Allen. However, Brady is at the helm of that, and tutoring such a big talent would transition well for Jackson.

The Ravens have a wealth of candidates to interview and choose from, as do the other multiple teams needing a new head coach. No team, apart from the New York Giants, has made a move on a head coach yet.

There is a multitude of options for every team to interview and choose from, and the Ravens will certainly take their time due to the organization needing to pick the right person. Whoever the next head coach is will only be the fourth person in franchise history to hold that position.

Bisciotti is looking for legacy and longevity, and the Ravens may need to take this at a slower pace to find that person.
