The Baltimore Ravens need more than Zay Flowers, and they get a solid player at the wide receiver position in the latest Field Yates mock draft.

Zay Flowers continues to showcase why he is a premier wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens, but more is definitely needed.

Apart from Flowers, no other receiver on the team exceeded 500 yards. Tight end Mark Andrews got close with 422, and next was DeAndre Hopkins at 330. The Ravens need more pass-catching help, and they get it in the latest Field Yates mock draft.

Lamar Jackson had a down year himself, which could have accounted for the low numbers for the wide receivers and tight ends. However, that does not mean the Ravens are in a good spot.

Flowers needs help, especially to open the passing game for all parties. Only having one 1,000+ yard receiver makes the offense appear to be one-dimensional, which does not help Jackson, running back Derrick Henry, and everyone else.

That said, NFL Draft expert Field Yates put together his latest mock draft, which has the Ravens go big on a wide receiver in the first round.

At No. 14 overall, Yates sees the Ravens draft USC's Makai Lemon.

"It would be nice for the Ravens to beef up the interior offensive line, but they are a playmaker short in the passing game as well. The Ravens finished 30th in receiving first downs this past season (141), ahead of only the Jets and Browns. They were also 30th in yards after the catch.

"What Lemon lacks in stature (5-foot-11, 195 pounds), he makes up for in several ways. He has an off-the-charts catch radius, elevated instincts and a determined running style after the catch. He can shake defenders in the short and intermediate passing game, which led to him averaging the third-most receiving yards per game in the FBS last season (96.3)," Yates wrote.

One of the biggest aspects of Lemon's stat line is having 96.3 yards per game. That is huge production for a receiver at the collegiate level. Having someone who can match Flowers would help transform the Ravens' offense.

The issue is that Lemon is also a small receiver. Jackson needs a big body to throw contested balls to, and having a similarly built receiver to Flowers may not be the way to go.

That is not at all saying the Ravens would not be smart to draft Lemon, but there are other holes that also need to be filled on the roster. One being bolstering the offensive line, and getting in some strong pass rush.

Still, Lemon's versatility would be a major boost for Jackson and the rest of the offensive prowess that should return with a fully healthy roster in 2026.
