The Baltimore Ravens not only have a decent strength of schedule, but they also caught a big break with their total miles traveled for the 2026 season.

The NFL schedule release is set for May 14, but many teams already know their strength of schedule. The Baltimore Ravens do, as they sit at the ninth-easiest schedule based on opponents' win records in 2025.

On top of the easier schedule, the Ravens also caught a big break with the total miles they will have to travel to face said opponents. Per the compiled list, provided by Bill Speros, Baltimore is also low on that list as well.

According to the list that was shared by Adam Schefter, the Ravens will travel a total of 17,422 miles to face their 2026 opponents. That places them at No. 21 overall in distance traveled, which is not a bad place to be.

Granted, teams play the teams they have to play, but having to travel far for any games takes a toll on roster health.

The farthest that the Ravens have to travel in 2026 will be against the Dallas Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which will take place in Week 3. Other than that, the majority of their other opponents are a bit closer.

Considering Baltimore went through a host of major changes in the offseason, having to travel more miles would have been tough. The organization fired longtime head coach John Harbaugh and brought in former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jesse Minter to lead the team.

The 2026 NFL Draft also took place last month, as the Ravens brought in 11 new players who are all vying to land starting positions on the roster. That's not to mention all of the free agency turnover as well, which includes Tyler Linderbaum, Charlie Kolar, and more going to new teams.

Even through the major changes, the Ravens are still expected to be one of the most competitive teams in the league, as their win total has been one of the highest on sports books. Additionally, roster grades and power rankings have been kind, with most placing the team in the top 10.

Having Lamar Jackson helps a great deal, and he should be plenty healthy in 2026. That includes the other players on the roster who also dealt with ailments in 2025.

With a healthy roster, multiple solid additions player-wise, this Baltimore team could certainly shock the NFL.

Time will tell whether the team can shake off the 2025 season and compete for the AFC crown again, but they have a legitimate shot and a favorable schedule to help that fact.
