The Baltimore Ravens need to bolster their pass rush, and they can do so with recently released Miami Dolphins star Bradley Chubb.

One of the glaring needs of improvement on the Baltimore Ravens roster is in the pass rush department. General manager Eric DeCosta stated the team would go after some bigger free agents, and one should be in the pass rush department.

That said, the Ravens could find new pass-rush help in recently released Miami Dolphins edge rusher Bradley Chubb.

Miami is in a tough cap situation, and the team has now released Chubb and Tyreek Hill. The latter of which might also be a possibility for the Ravens.

That said, Chubb is free to sign with any team due to his release. He does not need to wait for free agency and expect teams to be calling his representation very soon.

Chubb was traded to the Dolphins in November 2020 from the Denver Broncos. Between both teams, he secured eight sacks and 20 quarterback hits.

Chubb's first full season with the Dolphins saw him post a career year, with 11 sacks, 74 total tackles, 22 quarterback hits, and a league-leading six forced fumbles.

The issue is that Chubb tore his ACL in Week 17, which led to him missing the entire 2024 season.

Following his recovery, Chubb showcased that he still has a high motor, bringing in 8.5 sacks in a down year for the Dolphins. He also had 20 quarterback hits and two forced fumbles.

Apart from Chubb only being 29 years old, he has a major connection to Anthony Weaver, who is now the defensive coordinator for the Ravens. With Weaver back in the building, he might want to bring in a pass rusher that he helped mold.

Jesse Minter is also a big defensive guy, and may want the Ravens to take a look at Chubb now that he is released.

Chubb should be given another decent contract, but one that might not cost the Ravens front office a ton, considering his injury and age. That said, the former Dolphins pass rusher remains a solid producer, and one that could bolster Baltimore's defense in a big way.

Though there is likely to be plenty of competition for Chubb, the Ravens have a good amount of cap space that they could offer a good enough contract that the edge rusher would consider. He might also want to join a contender, and the 2025 season aside, that could be Baltimore in 2026.
