The Baltimore Ravens have been linked to this Pro Bowl wide receiver ahead of the new league year.

The Baltimore Ravens have a clear need at the wide receiver position.

Apart from Zay Flowers, the team has needed an upgrade at the receiver position for quite some time. After a year plagued by injuries and inconsistent play — particularly within that unit — a legitimate upgrade is needed.

Baltimore has a clear need there, and one way they can upgrade it is by making a trade. There are plenty of pass catchers out there whom they could go after, and one that has been linked to is the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pro Bowl wide receiver, Brian Thomas Jr.

Thomas' name has been floated around in trade rumors despite only being in the league for two seasons.

Among the other teams interested in potentially trading for Thomas are the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Carolina Panthers.

Despite having a crowded wide receiver room and coming off a disappointing season, the Jaguars have not indicated that they would want to trade Thomas. However, reports have indicated that they are "listening" to calls.

The cost for Thomas could be high, likely requiring a first-round pick to acquire the Pro Bowl pass catcher.

Nonetheless, there is a real chance the former first-round pick could find a new home. The Ravens are among the teams intersted and Thomas could be a game-changer for the team trying to get over the hump.

Thomas came onto the scene and showed the football world quickly why he was a first-round pick. His combination of size and speed was off the charts. Standing at 6-foot-2 and with a 4.3 speed, Thomas could be the ideal fit for the Ravens as they seek an upgrade in that position.

The 23-year-old could be just what the Ravens need and what Lamar Jackson needs. The current pass game attack for Baltimore relies heavily on tight ends and intermediate routes, but Thomas could take it to the next level.

He would give the Ravens an immediate deep threat with his ability to win vertically. That presence would force safeties to respect the deep ball, creating more space for Jackson to operate — both as a scrambler and within Baltimore’s powerful run game.

Thomas' 2025 season was a dud. He only collected 48 receptions for 707 yards and two touchdowns, a far cry from his rookie season. While the Jaguars had a great season, Thomas did very little to contribute.

The Ravens could very likely swoop in and steal him from a conference counterpart.
