The Baltimore Ravens may have a new head coach, but they have been given the highest win total for any team in the NFL.

The Baltimore Ravens have had a dramatic offseason thus far. After losing 11 players during free agency and backing out of trading for Maxx Crosby, the team has some major questions to answer.

Even with the losses, the addition of Trey Hendrickson will certainly make the defense take the next step. It could be his arrival or the fact that two-time MVP Lamar Jackson remains on the team, but the outlook for the Ravens has gotten better, as they hold the top spot in win total for the upcoming 2026 season.

The usual case for most new regimes is that they need a year or so to truly get things going. That is not the case every time, but there could be a learning curve for first-time head coaches.

Jesse Minter is the new man in town, and he takes over for John Harbaugh, who spent 18 seasons in Baltimore. Minter is one of the most respected coaches in the league, and it was only a matter of time until he got a chance to lead his own team.

Minter brought in his own staff, including former Ravens coach Anthony Weaver as the new defensive coordinator, and former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.

With a new staff in place, the Ravens looked to the offseason to ensure they could get things going. Unfortunately, losing center Tyler Linderbaum proved to be the catalyst that led to an exodus of multiple starters like tight end Isaiah Likely, All-Pro fullback Patrick Ricard, safety Alohi Gilman, and many more.

While the Ravens could be in panic mode due to their losses, the general consensus continues to be that the team will rise to the occasion.

Per sports betting odds, the Ravens also have the highest win total in the league. DraftKings currently has Baltimore at 11.5 wins, which beats out Super Bowl favorites in the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

There appears to be a ton of faith that the Ravens will be a highly competitive team in 2026. That is clearly not out of the realm of possibility, but Baltimore has had a rough opening free agency period.

Oddsmakers may be leaning more into the idea of Jackson being healthy, which certainly will make the Ravens far more competitive than they were in 2025. Also, Hendrickson is a game-wrecking pass rusher who will elevate the defense in a big way.

It is simply hard to ignore the free agent losses, which could heavily impact the Ravens' roster. While general manager Eric DeCosta and the front office are excellent talent evaluators, relying on rookies for multiple crucial roster spots might be a bit too risky.

Either way, the feelings across sportsbooks and in some analysts' eyes are that the Ravens are poised to have a huge bounce-back season.
