The Baltimore Ravens have released their initial injury report for Week 5 and quarterback Lamar Jackson has missed Wednesday practice.
The Baltimore Ravens have released their initial injury report for their Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, and there are many concerns on the list.
The most important is quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has now missed practice on Wednesday. He is suffering from an ankle injury, and his chances to play in Week 5 remain slim.
The full injury report is as follows:
| Player | Position | Injury | Wed | Thu | Fri | Game Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Zay Flowers | WR | Foot | LP | UNSPECIFIED | ||
| Trey Hendrickson | OLB | Finger | DNP | UNSPECIFIED | ||
| Kyle Hamilton | S | Groin | LP | UNSPECIFIED | ||
| Marlon Humphrey | CB | Hamstring/Calf | DNP | UNSPECIFIED | ||

| Andrew Vorhees | G | Foot | DNP | UNSPECIFIED |
Jackson suffered a reported sprained ankle and remains unlikely to play.
Joining Jackson as DNP (did not participate) are right guard Andrew Vorhees (foot), tackle Ronnie Stanley (NIR-rest/toe/ankle), tight end Durham Smythe (Achilles), cornerback Marlon Humphrey (hamstring/calf), outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson (finger), defensive lineman Calais Campbell (rest).
The most concerning, apart from Jackson, are Stanley and Humphrey. Stanley is dealing with a nagging toe injury, but he was able to make it into Week 4.
Humphrey suffered a calf injury in Week 4 and was removed from the game. Now, he has missed Wednesday's practice, which is not a good sign for his ability to play on Sunday.
Smythe has a reported torn Achilles and will miss the rest of the 2026 season, and Hendrickson is working his way back from surgery to repair his broken finger.
There are also several limited players. Wide receiver Rashod Bateman (shoulder), wide receiver Zay Flowers (foot), safety Kyle Hamilton (groin), wide receiver Chris Moore (ankle), and guard John Simpson (groin).
Flowers is also a concern, as he has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Now, it appears he is dealing with a foot injury.
Initial reports indicated that the Ravens' lead receiver was not on the field for Wednesday's practice, but he ended up being out there past the point when the media was covering the practice.
Flowers has been outstanding when on the field, so losing him for any sort of additional time would hit the offense hard. That would especially be true if both Moore and Bateman are also downgraded due to their injuries.
The Ravens have quite a few names on the list that are quite concerning, but this is the first of three injury reports. Head coach Jesse Minter also stated that he will let Jackson play when he is "ready to roll."
Whether or not that was a hint at potentially playing Sunday remains to be seen. Jackson could theoretically take the field with a taped-up ankle, but the team may want to ensure he gets the rest he needs.
