Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter did not offer much of an update on the injury to quarterback Lamar Jackson, along with the rest of the players who went down.

Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter is not one to be forthcoming when it comes to player injuries. To his credit, the reason behind that is not speaking out of turn when it comes to ailments.

When speaking to the media on Monday, Minter offered a sort of update on Jackson, along with the rest of the players who went down in the team's Week 4 loss.

The Ravens were able to outlast the Tennessee Titans, but it came with some big losses.

During the second-to-last play of the first half, Jackson took off to evade pressure. However, his ankle was caught by a Titans defender, leading to his not being able to play in the second half.

Jackson emerged from the tunnel at the start of the third quarter with his uniform on, but no helmet. It was then announced that he was questionable with an ankle injury.

The score was 24-7, and backup quarterback Tyler Huntley instead took over.

During the post-game presser, Minter stated that Jackson may have come back in the game. That would likely have been the case if the Titans had caught up in the fourth quarter.

Now, Minter offered a larger update on the ankle injury for Jackson. The head coach stated that the team is still gathering information and the quarterback may still play in Week 5.

"I don't know the chances yet. We are still gathering the information and the imaging and things like that. Just dealing with a little bit of an ankle, and we'll kinda see where that shakes out. Full confidence in him that when he's ready to roll, we'll roll," Minter said.

Minter hinted at the possibility that Jackson could play in Week 5. The coach also appeared to indicate that the quarterback might need some time off.

Jackson was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, which is probably why Minter was not forthcoming about what the injury is just yet. It was also reported that the Ravens' signal caller left the game in a walking boot.

Minter also stated he believes the injury that Jackson sustained is not "long-term."

Jackson wasn't the only Baltimore player who went down in the game. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey exited with a calf injury, right guard Andrew Vorhees was ruled out with a foot injury, and tight end Durham Smythe also suffered an Achilles injury.

All three were pulled from the game, in addition to Jackson. Minter did not offer any concrete updates on any player regarding when or how long they may be out.

The biggest concern is now with Jackson. With Huntley taking over, the offense could not produce any points in the second half.

The Ravens offense will need to play much better in Week 5, especially if Jackson has to miss a game or two due to his ankle injury. With Baltimore taking on the Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns next, those teams are expected to be a far tougher challenge than the Titans were.
