Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter spoke out with a clear message about Lamar Jackson's return from injury.

Ahead of this week's massive game for the Baltimore Ravens against the Buffalo Bills, the team has received some great news. It is widely expected that superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson will return to the field from the ankle injury that has kept him out.

Jackson, when healthy, is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. His return comes at a good time after the Ravens have dropped back-to-back games.

While the return of Jackson will give Baltimore a major boost, the team should not be expecting him to fix everything. That is a message sent directly from head coach Jesse Minter.

In a video shared by ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley, Minter made his point to the team crystal clear.

Minter stated that the team must understand there are moments for every team during an NFL season when a key player is missing. He noted that Baltimore has had three games of that exact scenario and have shown both positive and negative results in Jackson's absence.

After that statement, Minter made it clear that Jackson can't be expected to fix all the problems. It will take every player and coach in the building to turn things around this week against the Bills.

At the end of the day, Minter is 100 percent correct. Jackson will certainly help the Ravens' offense become more dangerous, but he can't fix the issues at other positions. Baltimore will need all players on both sides of the football to play better.

Currently, the Ravens hold a 4-3 record. After entering the season as an expected Super Bowl contender, the team has shown flashes of being that caliber of team. Unfortunately, they have also had flashes where they didn't look the part of a playoff team.

Going up against Buffalo will be an excellent test for Baltimore. Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the game and the Bills hold a 5-1 record. A win over Buffalo would be a massive confidence boost for the Ravens.

Having Jackson back in the lineup will certainly help. His presence will give Baltimore a better chance of scoring with Allen and the Bills. But, Jackson can't fix the defensive problems and won't be able to help slow Allen down.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully, the team as a whole is ready to answer the call that Minter has clearly made.
