Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton is the latest to crack the NFL Top 100 Players list.
There have been four Baltimore Ravens players who have now been added to the NFL Top 100 Players list. Wide receiver Zay Flowers at No. 71, quarterback Lamar Jackson at No. 69, linebacker Roquan Smith at No. 65, and now safety Kyle Hamilton have joined the bunch.
Hamilto has officially come in at No. 63 overall, joining his Ravens teammates. This comes right after ESPN dropped their safety rankings, which placed the Baltimore defender as the consensus top player at his position.
"Baltimore’s roster lists Hamilton as a safety, but the two-time All-Pro can’t be neatly defined by any one position. Case in point, he lined up at linebacker (268 snaps) and in the slot (249) in 2025 more than he did at either safety spot (228). Hamilton’s PFF defensive grade has never fallen under 86.4 in any of his four seasons. He’s also never been graded lower than 85.7 as a pass rusher or 83.0 in coverage, and he’s now racked up back-to-back years with triple-digit tackles," the ranking states.
Hamilton has become a multi-faceted playmaker in the NFL, often operating as a safety, cornerback, and linebacker. He has been moved from the secondary closer to the line of scrimmage due to his prowess as a blitzer.
On top of being one of the most prolific at his position, Hamilton has three consecutive All-Pro nods to his name.
With a career total of eight sacks, 25 tackles for loss, five interceptions, and 355 total tackles, there is not a whole lot that Hamilton cannot do at a high level.
Interestingly, he called himself and the defense out due to the Ravens' struggles in 2025, which makes sense. The unit and team did not deliver and missed out on the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
Hamilton has shown plenty of self-awareness and maturity, but also understands that the Baltimore defense can bounce back in a big way. Jesse Minter and Anthony Weaver are now back with the organization, serving in their respective roles as head coach and defensive coordinator.
Though a lot will still need to go right for the Ravens, they have the chance to get back to the strong defensive identity they have been known for. At the center of that is Hamilton, Smith, and now the additions of veterans like Calais Campbell and Trey Hendrickson.
