Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been given a new quarterback ranking and hit with a major question for 2026.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered some major setbacks in 2025. Hamstring, toe, knee, and many other ailments led to four missed games and his worst season in recent memory.

Jackson's struggles led many to believe that he could be trending down, but he remains a two-time MVP, and could have been a three-time MVP when Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen won the award in 2024. That said, the Ravens' signal-caller has been given a new quarterback ranking and hit with some major questions.

The 2025 season for Baltimore was a major letdown due to the inconsistencies on both sides of the ball, plus injuries. The aftermath of the season led John Harbaugh to be fired, resulting in him joining the New York Giants.

With a new regime in place in the form of first-time head coach Jesse Minter, the outlook for the Ravens in 2026 remains a big question.

The health of Jackson in 2025 also posed a big question for Fox Sports reporter Henry McKenna. In his quarterback rankings for the upcoming 2026 season, the Ravens' passer was ranked No. 10 overall, and a big question regarding his health.

"What led to Jackson’s major statistical regression last year: injuries, coaching tensions, or a more serious athletic decline?"

McKenna asks important questions that have multiple parts.

Was the regression from Jackson due to Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Todd Monken no longer being able to figure out the puzzle for their quarterback?

Were the injuries that Jackson sustained indicative of a larger problem?

Was the drama behind-the-scenes pointing to a larger divide in the locker room?

Jackson was apparently behind the Ravens pulling the ping pong tables and other games from the locker room so the team could focus during their losing streak. Despite a need to focus, the story of this happening caused an unwanted spotlight on the organization.

It is hard not to understand this move from Jackson and the Ravens' coaching staff. The team was on a four-game losing streak before they began to show life again in Week 7.

The question of Jackson's health is also a valid one, as he is only 29 years old, but he remained on the injury report from Week 11 and on, dealing with multiple ailments.

It could have just been the wear and tear from the hamstring injury he suffered, which is an injury that can oftentimes linger.

The good news is the Ravens brought in a new performance and health executive in the form of former rugby team doctor, Dr. Nic Gill. Gill is set to put together a program that will directly address the injuries the Ravens suffered in 2025.

Jackson remains one of the best quarterbacks in the league, despite his 2025 injury issues. When healthy, he is arguably the best dual-threat passer in the NFL.

There will be some concerns regarding the Ravens in 2026, but a strong training camp and preseason for the team might quell many of those concerns.
