Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has pitched Hollywood Brown to return to the team.

One of the biggest needs for the Baltimore Ravens heading into free agency is in the wide receiver department. Apart from Zay Flowers, the team needs more pass catchers.

Flowers finished the season with 1,211 yards and five touchdowns, but no other receiver on the Ravens was able to secure more than 500 yards. Tight end Mark Andrews came close with 422 yards.

More is needed, and though plenty of mock drafts have USC's Makai Lemon landing with Baltimore, adding one or two solid veterans in free agency could also be the way to go.

There are sure to be plenty of talented pass catchers to go after, and ones that may not necessarily break the bank for general manager Eric DeCosta. One such players is former Ravens receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.

Brown began his career with the Ravens in 2019, as a first-round pick. After just three seasons, he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals, where he remained through 2023.

Brown spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, it appears Jackson has made a pitch for the receiver to return to Baltimore.

Per Ravens superfan on X, Ramey, a screenshot from Brown's Instagram story was shown. In the screenshot, Jackson commented with a simple pitch.

"Purple heart means Hollywood to the Ravens," Jackson replied.

Jackson is never shy when it comes to trying to lure players to the Ravens. The good news is that Brown has plenty of familiarity with the organization, as he spent his first three seasons in the NFL there.

As a member of the Ravens, Brown secured 2,361 yards and 21 touchdowns. His lone 1,000-yard season was in 2021.

Jackson and Brown had a clear rapport, but the receiver could still be a bit upset that he was traded by his former team. Then again, that was also under a different regime.

With Jesse Minter running the show and Declan Doyle taking over the offense, that could sway Brown to consider returning to Baltimore.

The Ravens need more firepower, and despite Brown's waning production over the last few seasons, he could become a big weapon for Jackson.

Spotrac predicts Brown could get a one-year, $5 million deal. That is not a bad price to pay to see if his chemistry with Jackson remains.

Jackson does need some more big body receivers, but that can possibly be found in the draft or via another trade. For a low-risk, potentially high-reward pass catcher, Brown would be the perfect veteran to bring back into the building.
