Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has plummeted in the latest NFL Top 100 Players list.
There is no denying that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson struggled in 2025, which was due to multiple injuries. A hamstring injury knocked him out for two games, and he remained on the injury report from Week 10 and on.
Still, he managed to throw 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. It may be his lack of production due to said injuries, but Jackson has plummeted in a major way on the latest NFL Top 100 Players list.
Jackson comes in at No. 69 overall, which is astounding since he was ranked No. 2 heading into the 2025 season. He was also the highest-rated quarterback on the list just a year ago.
It is understandable that Jackson would fall a bit due to his uncharacteristic 2025 season, but to fall 67 spots seems like a major fall for one of the NFL's biggest playmakers.
There are also players who care less about the rankings, and Jackson is likely among them. However, this free-fall ranking could also be used as fuel to prove doubters wrong in 2026.
The Ravens' issues in 2025 led to sweeping changes, as Jesse Minter was brought in as head coach, and along with him came a host of new faces as well. One of whom is former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, who helped Caleb Williams have a career year.
Jackson is a far bigger veteran than Williams, but that does not mean he cannot elevate his game, and Doyle could be the right kind of mind to do just that. The coordinator's initial praise has come early and often, leading to the Ravens quarterback calling his offense "mind-blowing."
Should things gel the way the Ravens are likely hoping for, the offense and the team can take a major step in 2026. Jackson remains one of the best quarterbacks in the league, though the 2025 season might be the benchmark until the organization sheds the outlook of what transpired last season.
Either way, Jackson is a strong dual-threat in the NFL and has two league MVP awards for just that reason. He could have won a third in 2024, and is likely a big reason he was ranked above his rival, Josh Allen, on the 2025 NFL Top 100 list.
Now, he is at No. 69 in 2026, with a lot more to prove this season.
