With the regular season now over, teams will transition into talent evaluation for free agency and the NFL Draft. The Baltimore Ravens are no different.
Considering the Ravens need to fill some big holes on the offensive line, pass rush, and more, general manager Eric DeCosta will have his hands full with ensuring the roster is in good shape.
With most coaches turning their eyes towards the draft, analysts are doing the same. One of the most respected in the craft of the mock draft is Daniel Jeremiah.
Jeremiah released his first mock draft, which sees the Ravens go after the offensive line immediately with their No. 14 overall pick.
Per Jeremiah, Baltimore goes after one of the top linemen in the country, landing Penn State's offensive guard Olaivavega Ioane. The Ravens may deal with the idea of Tyler Linderbaum leaving in free agency, making the Ioane pick even more crucial.
"The Ravens need to upgrade at guard, and center Tyler Linderbaum is due to reach free agency in March. Ioane has a strong case to be considered the best offensive lineman in this year’s draft," Jeremiah wrote on the Ravens selecting Ioane.
Ioane is expected to be one of the top linemen in the first round of the draft, though his place varies from analyst to analyst. He exists somewhere in the mid to late first round for most draft analysts thus far.
Per PFF, Ioane comes in with an overall grade of 80.0, which is good for 13th among 684 qualified guards. His 87.0 pass blocking grade is ranked 21st, and his 78.6 run blocking grade is ranked 16th.
Though it is paramount for the Ravens to go after a quality pass rusher, it also makes sense for the team to target some offensive line help. Linderbaum staying could still happen, as Baltimore is known for extending their own talent, but that is not always a guarantee.
Clearly, Lamar Jackson took too much punishment, and his being hit by several injuries in 2025 aided in the less-than-stellar season. With more line help, the Ravens can also look to help Derrick Henry elevate his run game even more.
The Ravens offense is dangerous, and once the offensive coordinator is sorted, they may also want DeCosta to start solidifying the offensive line for the benefit of Jackson and more.
