Baltimore Ravens legends Terrell Suggs and Marshal Yanda were reportedly very close to making the Hallf of Fame.

During the NFL Honors ceremony, the 2026 NFL Hall of Fame Class was announced. Quarterback Drew Brees, running back Roger Craig, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, linebacker Luke Kuechly and kicker Adam Vinatieri were voted in and will be inducted.

Among the 15 finalists were Baltimore Ravens legends linebacker Terrell Suggs and offensive lineman Marshal Yanda.

Though Suggs and Yanda did not make it, they were reportedly very close.

Per NFL insider Ari Meirov, Suggs and Yanda were close to making it into the Hall of Fame. Additional reports indicated they were both in the final seven chosen, but did not make it.

Due to making it into the final seven, Suggs and Yanda will both automatically be finalists for the 2027 Hall of Fame selection.

Suggs played for the Ravens from 2003 to 2018, picking up NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, a Super Bowl win, an First-team and Second-team All-Pro nod, seven Pro Bowl selections, and a host of other accolades.

On top of his long list of accomplishments, Suggs owns the record for most tackles for loss with 202, is 12th all-time with 132 sacks, and is tied for 12th with 39 forced fumbles.

Simply put, Suggs was one of the most dominant linebackers in his 17-year career. While he did not make the Hall of Fame in 2026, he is likely to be inducted sooner rather than later.

Yanda has a long list of accolades himself, including a Super Bowl win, a seven-time All-Pro (two First-team nods, five Second-team nods), an eight-time Pro Bowler, and is part of the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team.

Yanda holds the record for most games played for the Ravens organization as an offensive lineman, is one of three guards who was nominamted to the Pro Bowl eight or more times, and he was instrumental in aiding the run game for Baltimore.

Similar to Suggs, Yanda was one of the best at his position, and it is only a matter of time before he makes it into the Hall of Fame.

Granted, both barely missed out on induction, and both will now be finalists due to landing in the top seven in voting.
