The Baltimore Ravens started their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the best way possible. Derrick Henry picked up chunk yardage on the ground, and the team scored a quick touchdown.
Both the Steelers and Ravens would trade punts following the score, but a strong defensive stand from Baltimore would turn into a field goal that kicked off the second quarter.
Henry already had 79 yards on the ground before the end of the first quarter, and things appeared to be going the Ravens' way.
After going up 10-0, the Ravens' offense began to stall. An injury to offensive lineman Daniel Faalele led to Emory Jones Jr. coming in as relief.
Faalele would eventually return, but the Ravens continued to be shut down just as the defense shut down the Steelers. Pittsburgh only managed a field goal in the second quarter, and the half wound down with a 10-3 score.
Unfortunately, the Ravens would get hit with a significant injury, as safeties Kyle Hamilton and Alohi Gilman would collide. Gilman cleared concussion protocol, but Hamilton was carted to the locker room and did not return.
The Steelers began to put things together, as Aaron Rodgers and Adam Thielen hooked up for a big 28-yard gain, which led to a touchdown and a 10-10 score at the start of the third.
Baltimore would begin charging downfield, but a tipped pass led to a costly interception. The Ravens held strong, keeping the Steelers out of the end zone, only giving up a field goal.
In the fourth quarter, the Ravens and Steelers began to trade touchdowns. Jackson caught Pittsburgh on some busted coverage, leading to a 50-yard bomb to Zay Flowers for a major touchdown.
Baltimore led 17-13, only for Rodgers to throw a 31-yard pass to Pat Freiermuth, setting up the touchdown for a 20-17 lead.
Oddly enough, the Steelers once again had some busted coverage, and Jackson hooked up with Flowers on a nearly-identical touchdown pass.
The Ravens led 24-20 with minutes left in the fourth quarter. Rodgers and Calvin Austin III would hook up for a wide-open pass, as the Steelers took the 26-20 lead.
Chris Boswell missed the extra point, and it was up to the Ravens to march downfield with less than a minute. They would do so on a big pass from Jackson to Isaiah Likely.
Setting up the go-ahead field goal, Tyler Loop kicked it wide right, ending the Ravens 2025 season.
