Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews is looking forward to getting more opportunities this season after massive roster turnovers this offseason.

Baltimore Ravens star tight end Mark Andrews is looking forward to the opportunities that are set to come his way on offense this upcoming season.

After the Ravens lost two tight ends this offseason, including Isaiah Likely, the spotlight now shifts back to Andrews. The 30-year-old spoke to reporters on Wednesday, noting that he’s embracing the opportunity and looking forward to the increased role he could see this season.

"I'm excited for him and his opportunity," Andrews said. "I'm excited for Charlie and his opportunity. I'm going to continue to get better and grow my game, and I think there's going to be a lot of opportunities in this offense."

The three-time Pro Bowler is coming off a down year. In 2025, Andrews is coming off a career-low 422 receiving yards, 48 receptions, five touchdowns, averaged 8.8 yards per reception and recorded a career-low 24.8 yards per game.

Andrews was still the lead guy in the tight end room, despite the emergence of Likely. The Arizona native still led the room in receiving yards and receptions. It had more to do with Andrews' availability as he played in all 17 games. He started in 11 of those 17 games.

The Ravens only have two tight ends: Andrews and Durham Smyth. That is not sufficient for a Ravens team looking to climb their way back to the top. The good news is that Baltimore is nowhere near closer to being done building their roster.

The Ravens have a ton of needs they must address, and one of those needs is certainly tight end depth. Baltimore holds the No. 14 pick in the draft and 10 other picks in the upcoming NFL Draft (a total of 11).

Baltimore could use their first pick on a tight end; however, they likely will use it on an offensive lineman. Still, that remains unclear with two weeks left in the draft.

Nonetheless, one of their draft picks will be a tight end or two. This year's draft class is loaded with talent, and the Ravens have an appropriate amount of picks to get that pick just right.

This year’s draft class at the tight end position is considered top-heavy, with Oregon's Kenyon Sadiq standing out as the clear-cut top option. Beyond that, the Ravens could target prospects who align with the traits that new head coach Jesse Minter looks for in the position.

Whoever the Ravens decide to go after, Andrews will do his part in being a mentor and leader to the younger tight end.
