Baltimore Ravens All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews squeaks in the top 10 of the latest tight end rankings despite an underwhelming 2025 season.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is still being recognized as one of the best at his position ahead of the 2026 season.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler compiled a list by NFL executives, coaches and scouts, ranking the top tight ends heading into the 2026 season.

While Andrews didn’t play the best football of his career last season, he still landed in the top 10 at his position according to league personnel.

They ranked Andrews No. 9 on the list.

"Andrews limped into the top 10 after a down year in 2025. But he has been a fixture on this list for several years.

"His 422 receiving yards marked a career low. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed four games, and the passing game had trouble finding a rhythm last season. Andrews still posted 1.3 receptions over expectation as tracked by NFL Next Gen Stats."

The 2025 season, the 30-year-old’s eighth of his career, was not one of his best.

The former Oklahoma Sooner recorded 48 receptions (the second lowest in his career when playing a full season), 422 receiving yards (a career-low), averaged 8.8 yards per reception ( a career-high low), and five touchdowns.

One veteran offensive coach said that Andrews’ competitive spirit and stamina is what still make him a threat.

"He's got an elite competitive spirit and stamina," a veteran NFL offensive coach said of Andrews. "That helps him maintain his level of play."

Baltimore still has a ton of faith in Andrews, as they inked him to a three-year, $39.2 million contract extension in December 2025.

While he may not be the same player he was, there is no denying his unquestionable leadership and what he means to the organization and team. He has established himself as one of the defining offensive pieces during his time in Baltimore.

Andrews holds the franchise records in career receptions, receiving yards and tight end touchdown catches.

For two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, Andrews is a vital piece to what they have accomplished thus far. In the past, Jackson has mentioned how Andrews has done so much for them and has always come to his defense, no matter what.

A new generation of tight ends has emerged in the spotlight; however, they still have a long way to go if they hope to match Andrews' stature and everything he has accomplished in the NFL thus far.

Andrews is the undisputed leader of the team and will serve as the primary safety blanket for Jackson under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.

The Ravens' thin tight end room means some pressure will be placed on Andrews in 2026.
