The Baltimore Ravens could be in line to draft offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa, who showed off insane speed during his 40-yard dash at Miami's Pro Day.

The Baltimore Ravens have some steep needs, and will address the 2026 NFL Draft in a big way to plug some of those holes. One potential place of big improvement is on the offensive line.

While the team brought in John Simpson, Danny Pinter, and Jovaughn Gwyn, more is needed. Enter Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa, who showed off some insane speed during his Pro Day performance.

Mauigoa has been mocked to the Ravens plenty, and he remains one of the top offensive linemen prospects coming out of college. While most of his snaps have come at the tackle position, he could be a player who will likely switch to guard in the NFL.

On the Ravens' line, Daniel Faalele and Andrew Vorhees struggled mightily in 2026, and the team is likely to seek to upgrade both positions. Simpson was brought in to potentially land one of the guard positions, but general manager Eric DeCosta is playing things in a smart way.

Bringing in competition and infusing the line with more than enough players is definitely a way to find the best possible line to protect Lamar Jackson.

A big way the Ravens can infuse competition into the line is to bring in young talent, which would be Mauigoa. The Hurricanes product showcased some strong speed while performing at Miami's Pro Day.

Per a video taken by Adam Lichtenstein, Mauigoa is shown flying down the field. His official time from Miami's Pro Day has not been revealed just yet, but the lineman does look as though he is running very fast for his size.

Mauigoa has the kind of athletic build that would match well with the ultra-physical nature of the Ravens team. He has the ability to jam up defenders while moving the pocket.

The bad news for the Ravens is that Mauigoa may go in the top 10, leaving DeCosta with the tall task of trading up, if they believe the Miami prospect is worth it to leap at least four spots.

Protecting Jackson is paramount, and Mauigoa could be the kind of day-one starter that the team needs. Then again, if he is still rough around the edges at the NFL level, his arrival could be the catalyst needed to whip the rest of the line into shape.

Faalele remains a free agent, and he is more than likely to sign with another team. While Simpson may be the frontrunner for the right guard position, nothing is set in stone.
