Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been hit with a brutal reality from last season.

As the rumors continue to swirl about the future of the Baltimore Ravens and star quarterback Lamar Jackson, plenty of potential outcomes have been suggested.

On one hand, the Ravens and Jackson could work out another long-term deal to keep him in town. There is also a chance that Jackson could want to test the waters elsewhere. No one knows what the future holds on that front.

However, the fact of the matter is that Baltimore is entering a new era in 2026.

Gone is longtime head coach John Harbaugh. To replace him, the Ravens brought in Jesse Minter. Missing out on the playoffs last season did not sit well with team leadership and ownership.

Jackson fell off dramatically from his MVP season in 2024. He dealt with injury issues throughout the 2025 season and his numbers were not good.

When all was said and done last year, Jackson ended up playing in 13 games. He completed 63.6 percent of his pass attempts for 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, while also running for 349 yards and two touchdowns.

Back in the 2024 season, Jackson threw for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and just four interceptions in 17 games, completing 66.7 percent of his passes. He also ran for 915 yards and four scores.

That being said, a new brutal statistic has been shared about Jackson from last year.

NFL analyst Warren Sharp has shared the worst quarterbacks in the red zone from the 2025 season. Jackson topped the list as the worst in the entire league.

Needless to say, the list is shocking as a whole. Seeing names like Jackson, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, and Justin Herbert on that list wasn't what most would expect to see.

Despite that fact, it shows another wrinkle about just how bad Jackson's 2025 season actually was and why Baltimore decided to make changes.

Should the Ravens continue struggling during the 2026 season, more changes could be on the horizon. If Jackson has another down year, one of those changes could come at the quarterback position.

There is a lot at stake heading into the upcoming year for both the team and Jackson. Hopefully, he's ready to rise to the occasion and get back to being an MVP-caliber quarterback.
