The Baltimore Ravens have received their dates for the official offseason workouts and training camp for the 2026 season.
The 2026 offseason is off and rolling for the NFL, and with free agency having mostly wrapped up and the NFL Draft right around the corner, the league has released offseason workout dates and training camp for all clubs. The Baltimore Ravens are set to begin their voluntary offseason workout program very soon.
Per the release and the Ravens official X account, the team will begin their offseason program on April 6.
Following the start of the offseason workout program, the voluntary minicamp will be held from April 20-22.
Official OTAs (offseason team activities) will then take place from May 18 to 19, 21, 26 to 28, June 1 to 2, and 4.
Mandatory minicamp will then take place from June 9 to 11.
All of these dates are important, especially for this new Ravens team that has myriad changes, including Jesse Minter as head coach, a new coaching staff, and players that have returned via free agency.
Though the presumption is that most of the team will be engaged in some of the voluntary workouts, one player has been brought up recently: Lamar Jackson. Jackson is the de facto leader of the team, and it will be interesting to see if he will join his teammates for the voluntary program.
When asked about Jackson attending the program, Minter dodged the question a bit. He indicated that the starting activities are voluntary, but he is excited to get things started and he knows the quarterback is as well.
"I know Lamar's excited," Minter said. "I think he is excited about some of the changes. We've had a lot of good connection points, but the offseason program is voluntary, and we're excited to get a chance to work with the guys, whoever wants to show up.
It will not be that shocking if Jackson is not there at the start of the voluntary workouts, as veterans often use this time to vacation and be with their families while they gear up for the next season. However, his showing up to everything could go a long way to buying into the new regime, as well as showing the entire organization they also need to buy into Minter's plans.
There is a lot riding on Minter's first season as head coach, especially getting the Ravens back to contention after an uncharacteristic 2025 season. Despite injury struggles, Jackson being on the team gives them a chance to always compete.
