The Baltimore Ravens will begin their new chapter with the reveal of new uniforms on April 16.

In a very symbolic way, the Baltimore Ravens are ushering in this new era of football with head coach Jesse Minter. John Harbaugh was fired, ending his 18-year tenure as head coach, which brought on a host of new changes.

Considering Minter is now the leader of the storied franchise, he will be responsible for not only ushering in a new era of Ravens football, but that will come with a brand-new look. On April 16, the organization will unveil new uniforms.

Multiple teams have gone through the process of altering their uniforms to some degree, but the Ravens have not done so in 26 years. The caption for the reveal says it all:

"It’s official!

"We will debut a new uniform collection this year built for the next era of Ravens football.

The Next Flight arrives April 16," the official post reads on X.

Senior Vice President of Marketing Brad Downs released a statement on the release of the new uniforms, which reads:

"From the outset, our objective was clear: evolve a uniform that has become iconic, and only move forward if we could truly make it better. After more than two years of design, iteration, and collaboration, we believe we've done just that—delivering a look that feels both modern and unmistakably Ravens."

Per the release, the new uniform reveal will come during a PSL event on April 16 and will feature many Ravens legends, including Terrell Suggs, Todd Heap, Qadry Ismail, Jamal Lewis, Jermaine Lewis, Michael McCrary, Edwin Mulitalo, Ray Rice, Jimmy Smith and Matt Stover.

Baltimore's last major uniform change came in 2024, when they debuted the "Purple Rising" helmets and all purple uniforms for the NFL's Color Rush initiative, but a full-on uniform change has not been done in quite some time.

It will be interesting to see what kinds of changes the Ravens will showcase in these new uniforms. Will there be different color combinations? New colors altogether?

In the same excitable nature as bringing in a new head coach and staff, the Ravens will couple that with the unveiling of some new uniforms, which makes sense to welcome in this new era of Baltimore football.
