Breaking down the top needs for the Baltimore Ravens and their picks for the upcoming Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Baltimore Ravens addressed a significant need in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, bringing in Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane at No. 14 overall.
With Day 2 set to kick off, the team still has a plethora of needs to address and only a minimum number of picks in the second and third rounds. That said, here is a look at what the Ravens need.
Day 2 Picks
Round 2: Pick No. 45 overall
Round 3: Pick No. 80 overall
Ravens Remaining Needs
Cornerback
Despite having Marlon Humphrey in the building, the Ravens still need to upgrade their secondary. Chidobe Awuzie was brought back on a one-year deal, and the team still has Nate Wiggins, but more is needed.
Upgrades on the defense are needed all around, but the secondary needs to be infused with talent. Look to the Ravens to target a corner with either their second or third round selections.
Safety
Baltimore has an All-Pro in Kyle Hamilton and Malaki Starks ready to take the next step, but the losses of both Alohi Gilman and Ar'Darius Washington leaves the team without significant depth.
Similar to the cornerback situation, the safety position could use an infusion of young talent, especially if those players are to learn under Hamilton to be impactful down the line.
Center/Guard
This might not sound like the biggest need considering the Ravens just drafted Ioane, but the team remains without a starting center. Jovaughn Gwyn, Danny Pinter and John Simpson were brought in to add some competition, depth, and to be starters, but a center is needed.
Considering the quality of players like Kansas State's Sam Hecht and Auburn's Connor Lew, the Ravens could target a center in this second day.
Wide Receiver
Many believed that the Ravens were set to pick a wide receiver with the No. 14 pick, and they could have done so with USC's Makai Lemon. That was not the case, leaving the team to need to upgrade that position on Day 2.
The good news is there are multiple prospects that have yet to be drafted like Washington's Denzel Boston, Alabama's Germie Bernard, Louisville's Chris Bell, Notre Dame's Malachi Fields.
The issue is there are plenty of teams that are also needing a wide receiver so the chances of the Ravens being able to nab one of these prospects at No. 13 in the second round may be a bit dubious.
