The Baltimore Ravens 2025 season ended on a heartbreaking missed field goal from Tyler Loop, and now the offseason has began for the organization. There have been plenty of reports regarding the future of head coach John Harbaugh, but a different change could be incoming.
Per a new report from NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Ravens could be aiming to make a big change at the coordinator position.
This change could be for offensive coordinator Todd Monken or defensive coordinator Zach Orr. Either way, Anderson said via sources that a change could be imminent.
It would not be the least bit shocking if this is the route that Ravens plan to take. The idea that they would outright fire John Harbaugh should not be taken seriously.
Harbaugh would only leave the Ravens of his own accord. Crazier things have happened, but he remains a proven and winning coach.
Now, when it comes to the offense and defense, that could be an entirely different story.
The Ravens offense struggled plenty in 2025, but that could be due to Lamar Jackson having to deal with multiple injuries. He suffered a hamstring that knocked him out for three games, and had knee, toe, ankle, and back ailments as well.
With Jackson out, Tyler Huntley did play well in relief, but that does not account for the uncharacteristic 1-5 start.
Derrick Henry proved that he can metaphorically carry the team on his back, but there were instances where the Ravens underutilized him. That responsibility would fall onto both Monken and Harbaugh.
The New England Patriots game is a prime example of this, where Henry was on the bench for nearlty 12 minutes. That cannot happen when Henry can pick up chunk yardage on the ground.
For the defense, there was a severe lack of pass rush, and the secondary is only getting worse. That might not fall directly onto Orr's shoulders, but he was responsible for getting the most of his defense.
Baltimore will have a tough choice to make with players like Marlon Humphrey, who experienced a clear decline. But when Kyle Hamlilton went down in the Steelers loss, the defense appeared to take a big step back.
There are clear issues on both sides of the ball for the Ravens, and what Harbaugh plans to do about it will likely happen in the coming days or weeks. Monken and Orr are up for evaluation, the same as every coach, and it would not be shocking to see either one or both being let go.
