A look at three draft picks for the Baltimore Ravens who can make an immediate impact on the field.
With the Baltimore Ravens taking 11 players in the 2026 NFL Draft, there is a lot to unpack regarding where they may end up come September. That said, there were some confusing choices for the team, and some standout selections.
Here is a look at three of the Ravens draft picks that may have an immediate impact on the field:
3. Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
To start, wide receiver Elijah Sarratt could be a major steal for the Ravens, as they patiently waited to bring ing the Indiana receiver in the fourth round. He was predicted to be a second to third round selection, making the bargain already a strong bonus.
Sarratt finished 2025 with 830 yards and 15 touchdowns. He finished his collegiate career with 31 touchdowns and 2,978.
Simply put, Sarratt has the intagibles to be an almost immediate starter, and his 6-foot-2 and 210 pound size could be a huge element to the passing game for Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have needed size and players that can catch contested balls, and Hoosiers prospect fits that bill.
2. Zion Young, Edge, Missouri
Putting Zion Young as an immediate impact player might be obvious, but the edge rusher could be one of the biggest slam dunk players in the draft. He may not have had the same looks as someone like Rueben Bain Jr., but he possesses strong hands and a solid edge-setting technique.
Young will need to find clever ways to get around tackles, but he has the kind of run stopping quickness that will pay dividends for the Ravens front. With 26.5 tackles for loss over the past three seasons, he can learn under Tavius Robinson and Josh Jenkins to make an immediate impact in the pass rush game.
1. Vega Ioane, G, Penn State
Again, placing first-round pick Vega Ioane here might be an obvious choice, but he is a strong and physical guard that is fantastic in run game situations. On top of being the consensus top guard out of college, he has the skills to be an immediate starter.
The Ravens may now have to see where they can place Ioane, as head coach Jesse Minter indicated that his versatility will have to be tested first. At first looks, Ioane is likely to take the vacant starting right guard position, but he could also move to the left with Andrew Vorhees being pushed to the right or down the depth chart.
Danny Pinter, John Simpson, and Jovaughn Gwyn were brought in to add depth and competition, and Ioane is likely to be the player who pushes the rest of the line to be solid. He has an anchor type ability to him, which will lead to an immediate Day 1 impact.
