In a new video from the Baltimore Ravens, a multitude of suggested outside linebackers were pitched as potential additions before the season begins.
The Baltimore Ravens have a strong roster, but there are still some holes that need to be addressed. One suggested area of improvement is the outside linebacker position.
Despite Trey Hendrickson being signed and Zion Young being drafted, depth and experience are issues. That said, the official team YouTube channel posted a video suggesting multiple players that Baltimore could target.
The suggested additions are Von Miller, Haason Reddick, Joey Bosa, Jadeveon Clowney, and Kyle Van Noy. While most of these players would likely be welcome additions, let's take a look at each one.
Von Miller
Von Miller has been one of the most consistent pass rushers in the game. Even at 36 years old and 14 years in the league, he continues to defy football age. As a member of the Washington Commanders, he brought in nine sacks on 420 defensive snaps.
Miller would be a huge depth and veteran presence, but likely would fill in situational passing downs as opposed to being a high snap count defender. If Baltimore wanted experience, Miller would be a solid addition.
Haason Reddick
After securing double-digit sack counts in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Haason Reddick dealt with contract holdouts and injuries in the 2024 and 2025 seasons, which severely impacted his production.
At only 3.5 sacks through those seasons, Reddick might not have the kind of impact that would lead the Ravens to sign him over the other potential veterans.
Joey Bosa
Joey Bosa is an intriguing option, as he could be a designated edge rusher for the Ravens. Even with limited snap counts, he managed to bring in five sacks and five forced fumbles.
Bosa has an 88.7 pass rush grade on Pro Football Focus, which is ranked eighth among outside linebackers. His major issue is staying healthy, but he also has familiarity with Jesse Minter, as they were both on the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jadeveon Clowney
The Ravens may have a soft spot for bringing back Jadeveon Clowney, who already has plenty of familiarity with the organization from his one-year stint in 2023. A player who already understands the Baltimore culture could be a strong candidate.
Clowney also brought in nine sacks as part of the Dallas Cowboys on a defense that struggled mightily in 2025. He would fit Baltimore's pressure-heavy scheme and brought in 9.5 sacks and 19 quarterback hits.
Kyle Van Noy
Kyle Van Noy recently dropped a major hint at the possibility that he would rejoin the Ravens. He explained his relationship with the organization, Eric DeCosta, and Steve Bisciotti.
Van Noy dropped from 12.5 sacks in 2024 to just two in 2025, but the defense as a whole suffered from injuries and the loss of Nnamdi Madubuike. However, with Calais Campbell returning and the addition of Trey Hendrickson, the linebacker may see his game explode once again.
