A look at the current state of the Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks ahead of training camp.

The Baltimore Ravens have officially set their training camp dates, which begin on July 29 and will run through Aug. 17. During this time, fans and media will get a chance to look at the roster and see how it fits together.

With training camp right around the corner, we want to start breaking down what the current units look like, though there are likely to be changes made through camp and preseason. That said, our first look is at the quarterbacks and how it may shake out to start the regular season.

Ravens Quarterbacks on the Roster

Lamar Jackson

There is no argument to be made here that Lamar Jackson will not be QB1 when the regular season begins, unless he suffers some sort of injury that will keep him off the field. That is unlikely to be the case, and he can start gunning for his third MVP in the NFL.

Tyler Huntley

When the Ravens needed him most, Tyler Huntley stepped back into the lineup and helped the team climb out of its losing streak. It was sadly not enough, and the playoffs were still missed, but Huntley knows this offense better than anyone and will be the QB2 when things kick off.

Skylar Thompson

Skylar Thompson has been with the Miami Dolphins and rival Pittsburgh Steelers, and was added to the Ravens roster this offseason. His addition could mean that the rookies added might have a longer shot to make the roster at all, even on the practice squad.

Diego Pavia

Former Vanderbilt passer Diego Pavia was signed to a rookie deal and was given a chance to shed his off-field controversies that may have played a part in his not being drafted. Head coach Jesse Minter indicated that the young signal caller has a fresh slate, and he can certainly make a name for himself by having a strong camp.

Joe Fagnano

UConn rookie Joe Fagnano is on a similar pathway to Pavia. Thompson being added might mean that he is the clear favorite to be QB3, but that is never a guarantee. While Fagnano does not have any controversies, he will have a tougher chance at making the 53-man roster or practice squad.

Biggest Questions Surrounding Quarterbacks

Will the Ravens extend Jackson?

This is a no-brainer question, and has been one of the biggest topics surrounding the Ravens in 2026. While the conversations between Jackson and the Baltimore front office have been made private, there have been talks.

Jackson's massive $80 million cap hit is not likely to go unchecked, and general manager Eric DeCosta is likely pushing to get a deal done. However, that may not happen until the 2027 offseason.

Do the rookies have a chance to make the 53-man roster?

The battle for the QB3 spot will be one of the most interesting to watch for the Ravens, as Pavia and Fagnano will be up against a proven veteran in Thompson.

Thompson impressed greatly in 2025 during the preseason, which led many to believe he would be the Steelers' backup quarterback. That wasn't the case, but now he gets a chance to improve his stock with Baltimore.

It is always tough for UDFAs to make the roster, but it is not a wholly unlikely situation. In terms of Pavia and Fagnanon beating out Thompson for the practice squad position, it will really be determined if they can master the playbook more than a veteran.
