Saints get fined

Roger Goodell and the NFL dropped the hammer on the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. The NFL fined both teams $500,000 for what they called “the actions that took place at the joint practice between the teams earlier this week.”

The punishment comes after the Saints and Cowboys had quite the intense joint practice this week that led to fights. The NFL has made sportsmanship a priority heading into the new season.
