Despite the slow start, the Saints are alive in the division

This season hasn’t gone the way Saints fans would have liked. After coming into the season with tons of hope, things have looked anything but hopeful. Luckily for the Saints, they reside in the NFC South. Widely considered the weakest division in football, the NFC South is wide open. No team in the division has more than three wins, and with the Carolina Panthers appearing to come back down to earth, it appears that the New Orleans Saints have a real opportunity to steal the NFC South.Oct 31, 2026

The city of New Orleans loves their Saints, but it is time for Tyler Shough to lead his team through a different type of “French Quarter”. Can Tyler Shough rebound after a rough performance?

The New Orleans Saints are hoping to get things back on track. After a nice start to the season, the Saints have really struggled. Among those struggling is second-year quarterback Tyler Shough. Nobody should expect Shough to be perfect all the time, but the young quarterback was far from it on Sunday. He failed to eclipse 100 yards passing, throwing two interceptions along the way. The Saints will look to rebound against the Giants this weekend. Saints coming back down to Earth?

The Saints started the season looking like a team looking to make a real push. But after a couple of disappointing losses, it is starting to feel like Tyler Shough and company are beginning to come back down to Earth. The positive is that Shough has still looked pretty solid despite the team’s struggles. Tyler Shough can make a name for himself on MNF

Saints fans already know what they have in Tyler Shough. But now it is time that the rest of the nation see for themselves. After dropping their last game against the Raiders, Shough and the Saints will be looking to get back on track when they take on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The Falcons began the season looking like a potentially easy win, however, after dismantling the Packers in week three, that no longer seems to be the case. Does Tyler Shough have more magic up his sleeve?

The Saints are 1-1 so far this season, but the story in New Orleans has been the play of quarterback Tyler Shough. In both of the first two games, the Saints have found themselves playing from behind. While Saints teams in the past would have folded up shop, Shough has led this team to a couple of inspirational comebacks (and both could have easily ended in victories). With a week three matchup against the Raiders, hopefully the Saints won’t require a miraculous effort from their young quarterback in order to secure a win. Can Tyler Shough continue his hot start?

Saints fans were already feeling pretty good about the quarterback position after last season, but Tyler Shough really got people excited with his week one performance. Despite the close loss, Shough had himself a day. He threw for 410 yards and three touchdowns. To make things even more impressive, the second-year quarterback did so in a comeback. Tyler Shough talks his passion for New Orleans

Quarterback Tyler Shough is entering his second season in the NFL and has thus far said all of the correct things.  That did not change when the Saints quarterback spoke with the New Orleans media.  Shough said of his offseason, “I wanted to be in New Orleans”.  This is the type of attitude that fans in New Orleans love to hear. Could the Saints win the division?

The 2026 NFL season is right around the corner, and fans are bullish on Tyler Shough and the New Orleans Saints.  But could the Saints be in position to win the NFC South? The thought of winning the division might seem unlikely, however, it is not impossible.  Shough showed last season that he has the talent needed to succeed at quarterback. Saints get fined

Roger Goodell and the NFL dropped the hammer on the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. The NFL fined both teams $500,000 for what they called “the actions that took place at the joint practice between the teams earlier this week.” The punishment comes after the Saints and Cowboys had quite the intense joint practice this week that led to fights. The Saints dodged a bullet by not signing Terrion Arnold

The New Orleans Saints are hoping to make a leap in 2026, probing to fans that their mild success last season was not a mirage. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Saints had tried to sign cornerback Terrion Arnold before signing with the Seattle Seahawks.  The controversy following Arnold is well documented. Arnold has eight pending felony charges stemming from an alleged armed robbery and kidnapping. Schefter reports that the NFL must now decide whether or not they will place Arnold on the Commissioner’s Exemption List. Aug 14, 2026

Several Saints players to attend Drew Brees’ HOF enshrinement

New Orleans Saints’ legend Drew Brees will forever be enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame this weekend, and according to columnist Jeff Duncan, several current players will be there to honor the quarterback.  Duncan reports that Cam Jordan, Alvin Kamara and Zach Wood are expected to miss practice on Saturday in order to attend the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony on Canton.  It is important that the Saints continue to honor past greats, especially one as important as Brees. Aug 8, 2026

Adam Schefter has some high praise for Tyler Shough

Fans of the New Orleans Saints are already high on quarterback Tyler Shough, but hearing praise from the national media is always encouraging.  ESPN’s Adam Schefter spoke about Shough on Friday on The Pat McAfee Show.  “There's great vibes around this New Orleans Saints team right now. Tyler Shough completes Ice Bucket Challenge

The entire NFL community is still coping with the unfortunate news that Chris Johnson was diagnosed with ALS. New Orleans Saints’ young quarterback Tyler Shough is joining others by trying to bring awareness to the disease.  Shough recently completed the famous Ice Bucket Challenge on social media. Saints mourn the loss of legend Keith Mitchell

The Saints community is mourning the loss of former Pro Bowl linebacker Keith Mitchell, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 51. An undrafted free agent who became a franchise standout, Mitchell spent five seasons in New Orleans and earned Pro Bowl honors in 2000 while helping lead the team to its first playoff victory. His impact extended far beyond football as he inspired others through wellness, mindfulness and resilience after his playing career. Chris Olave is looking for a contract extension

Saints’ star wide receiver Chris Olave has his eyes set on something else other than a Super Bowl: he is looking for a contract extension.  According to Katherine Terrell of ESPN, Olave his hoping to get a new contract from the Saints prior to training camp. His idea behind getting the new contract done sooner rather than later is to avoid any unnecessary team chemistry issues. Travis Etienne wants Alvin Kamara to stick around

The future of Saints legend Alvin Kamara appears to be very much up in the air. But if the decision was up to newcomer Travis Etienne, Kamara would be playing alongside him.  According to Sara Palczewski of Louisiana First News, Etienne said that he would love to play with Alvin Kamara.  “We all know what Alvin can do.
