Can Tyler Shough continue his hot start?
Saints fans were already feeling pretty good about the quarterback position after last season, but Tyler Shough really got people excited with his week one performance. Despite the close loss, Shough had himself a day. He threw for 410 yards and three touchdowns. To make things even more impressive, the second-year quarterback did so in a comeback. Shough and the Saints have a tough game against the Ravens ahead of them, and if they want to come up with a win they will need some more magic from their franchise quarterback.

The Saints are Doing Right by Alvin Kamara
Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com made an interesting point regarding the New Orleans Saints and Alvin Kamara: the Saints are doing right by the veteran running back. The NFL can be a cut-throat business. We have seen numerous veterans go from leading a team to being waived in the snap of a finger. However, the Saints appear to be rewarding the loyalty of Kamara. Rather than trying to ship him elsewhere or cutting ties, the Saints seem to be allowing him to continue his career on his own terms.

Tyler Shough Gets a New Weapon in Jordyn Tyson
The Saints are clearly focused on surrounding Tyler Shough with playmakers, and adding Jordyn Tyson is another big step in that direction. Tyson brings explosiveness and strong hands, giving Shough a reliable target who can create after the catch. What stands out is his versatility—he can line up all over the field and keep defenses guessing. For a young quarterback, that kind of weapon is huge. If the chemistry builds quickly, this could quietly become one of the more impactful rookie connections for the Saints this season.
