The New Orleans Saints are hoping to make a leap in 2026, probing to fans that their mild success last season was not a mirage. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Saints had tried to sign cornerback Terrion Arnold before signing with the Seattle Seahawks.

The controversy following Arnold is well documented. Arnold has eight pending felony charges stemming from an alleged armed robbery and kidnapping. Schefter reports that the NFL must now decide whether or not they will place Arnold on the Commissioner’s Exemption List.
