According to ESPN's Katherine Terrell, the New Orleans Saints think highly enough of Tyler Shough to where they are committing to him as the starting quarterback for the 2026 season.
Coming in to relieve former starter Spencer Rattler, Shough appeared in 11 games and completed 67.6 percent of his throws for 2,384 yards and 10 touchdowns compared to six interceptions during his 2025 campaign, averaging 7.3 yards per attempt. He also found the end zone three times on the ground. His play was key in helping them win four games in a row to close the season.
With a signal-caller in place, the Saints will be expected to explore free agency and the draft for impact players to super charge the team for 2026 and beyond.
