It is beginning to feel like a real possibility that former Saints quarterback Derek Carr could come out of retirement. Although the Saints appear set on starting Tyler Shough following a strong rookie campaign, a Carr return to the NFL could affect the Saints. 

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the New Orleans Saints still hold Derek Carr’s rights, meaning that if another team has interest in the quarterback, they may need to negotiate a trade to acquire him.
